Going down a rabbit hole that some people may be able to help with:
@Harry’s post (#87585) says ‘Strange version of column transposition’, with the letters ‘Strngeversiofclumrasptio’ in bold, and the letters ‘anoontnosin’ not.
I am unsure of what this means, whether it be a clue to the cipher itself (which we now know as a form of Cadenus Cipher), or a key of some sort, so I am open to others’ musings.
If only it were simple…
