what is the maximum score for each part? Also do you got docked marks for missing spaces?10th October 2019 at 4:45 pm #42968
For part A you get an accuracy score in the range 0-100.
For part B you get an accuracy score in the range 0-100 together with a time score based on how quickly you submit your best answer. For Challenge 1B the maximum score is (100, 160) representing a completely accurate answer submitted before 23:00 Friday.
In every case accuracy is more important than speed, but for the B challenges both matter.
If you submit a 90% accurate version before 23:00 on Friday, and 98% accurate version after that and before 23:00 on Sunday and a 97% accurate version on Monday you will get a score of (98, 140) which is better than (90, 160) and (97,140). Hope that helps,

Do the points from the practise challenges count in the final leaderboard because I didn’t know when the first challenge was being released?10th October 2019 at 5:04 pm #42974
No, they don’t, they just appear on the Challenge 1 certificates. The final competition standings for Challenge B only use marks from rounds 4-9. The part A challenges are stand alone.10th October 2019 at 11:18 pm #43050BlackberrypiMember
For both Parts A and B, we only recien=ved 100 points and it was done within the time to get full points. Was our accuracy lost are the points for time not allocated until the end10th October 2019 at 11:18 pm #43055
As you correctly surmise, time points will be awarded at the end of each challenge!27th October 2019 at 11:40 am #43852MloweMember
So time doesn’t matter at all in challenge A and for challenge B as long as your most accurate entry was before 23:00 the day after the challenge is released, you can still get full points for time?
