The National Cipher Challenge

BIG News

We are delighted to announce that Rob Eastaway has agreed to speak at the National Cipher Challenge Prizegiving at Bletchley Park on March 4th. We are really looking forward to meeting him and to hearing what he has to say.

Rob is a leading promoter of maths in all its forms, author of several excellent books including his latest, “Much Ado About Numbers”. He won the Christopher Zeeman Medal for communication and outreach and was cited for his ability to engage and inspire great numbers of diverse audiences. His books on mathematics and sport have been translated into several languages and one (an introduction to Cricket for non Cricketers) was even gifted to the US President by our Prime Minister in 1992.

Prize winners and medallists will be invited to join us at Bletchley to hear what Rob has to say, and we look forward to meeting you there. Please make sure to check messages on this site if you are hoping to receive an invitation!

PS (which in this case stands for Pre-Script because we want to make sure you read it!) A Message is not the same thing as an invite as we can use the message system to contact you for various reasons, however any invites we do issue will start with a message, so PLEASE do check. We will be reaching out to some of you over the Christmas period and would hate to think you weren’t reading our messages. [Enough links to the messages tab now, thank you. Ed]
