We have had over 2,000 submissions to the first challenge so far, so congratulations to everyone who has tackled it – we hope you had fun. For those who are brand new to codebreaking and might struggle a little bit with Challenge 1B, we will publish a hint, in the form of a case file, on Sunday morning so take a look then to help you get started.
Case files can cover a lot of different things. Sometimes they tell you a little more about the story, sometimes they give you a different view of the document you are trying to break, and sometimes they give you a hint as to how to break it. It is always worth taking a look to see what is on offer as they will update during each challenge.
Also, before I forget, don’t forget the usual Sunday puzzle edition of the news if you want to try something a little different!
