Not sure whether to feel flattered or threatened to receive the attached image in the digital post, but definitely feel intrigued! Not sure how to interpret the symbolism, and I hope that the shovel is not meant to hint at my own mortality. I have chosen to believe it is a symbol of effort (spadework) to go along with the key, symbolising insight. You are free to determine your own interpretation! Our anonymous donor also provided us with a card for Madness, and he seemed to like it. At least enough to say he doesn’t mind us posting it here.
