Thanks to everyone who made it to the Wednesday Prizegiving at Bletchley Park and who made it such a memorable day. We owe a huge debt of thanks to our sponsors for the event, Northrop Grumman, the BlueSpark Foundation, EPSRC and the University of Southampton School of Mathematical Sciences.
Our speakers did a fabulous job of entertaining and informing us and, in a fast moving world they managed to give us a glimpse of how AI is evolving and changing things.
Congratulations to our prize winners and medallists, we hope you all enjoyed meeting us as much as we enjoyed meeting you. And thanks to the teams at Bletchley and Southampton who ran the event with such energy, talent and grace.
We were delighted to invite some alumni of the competition to join us for the day, and one of them you know well from the forum. They wrote up some thoughts about the day for their blog, and with their permission I will post the article as our final news post for the year.
Plans for next year, our Silver Jubilee, are afoot and we gave a sneak peak at it at the end of the competition. If enough of you ask on Twitter maybe we will post a teaser there too!
Until next time,
