How interesting. The poster mentions Kate Warne…an American. She was known for her role in the
Pinkerton National Detective Agency, and was influential in uncovering the Baltimore Plot
against President Lincoln. As far as I know, she never ventured to England, so perhaps the
silver bullet has some connection to her domestic work?
