What is the advantage to not giving feedback on the last challenges? Surely if brute-forcing the submissions box isn’t allowed anyway, how would people benefit from it other than finding typos? Also, dang 10b is hard… no idea what has been changed from 9b, but whatever it is, its annoying 😛
If we give feedback then that gives an advantage to anyone who relies on it, which in turn encourages everyone to rely on it. The only feedback the cryptographers at GCHQ get is when they crack a cipher and get recognizable plaintext from it, and this is the closest you are going to get to that without signing up. We think it adds something, and we think you will agree if you manage without it. Harry
