For the 13th rule in the Submitting your solutions:
’13. You may use spreadsheets and text editors to help you tackle the challenges and any software we provide on the Official BOSS Deciphering Tools page. You can also use any software that you write yourself. You should not use deciphering tools you find elsewhere on the web and doing so can result in disqualification.’
For ‘You can also use any software that you write yourself’, does it mean that I cannot ask ChatGPT on a specific part of my code? (Not prompting for the whole code, just 1 line)
So can I ask in Stack overflow?
[Have to be honest, ChatGPT was not really a thing when we wrote the rule, but the intention is that the hard work has to be done by you, no-one else (where you includes anyone in the team of course). So no AI and no asking on forums or elsewhere please! Good luck, Harry]
