Hey everyone, this space will be where we post coding websites and information sources we found helpful and also answer any questions people have!
Hope this becomes useful for first timers and veterans alike,
Your friends at Phishing Season 🙂

Great site for frequency analysis, can also work with ngrams: https://www.dcode.fr/frequency-analysis

That may be good for practicing BUT do remember that all tools used for actual challenges must be made by you

You’re also welcome to use our Official BOSS Deciphering Tools on the site!

Sure, but I would agree with the Elf_on_the_Shift, as the official boss tools help ALOT! If you need to replace random letters with words, then I would go RESOURCES, Boss deciphering tools and click on the Substitution Tool Because it would make things a lot faster and a lot easier. Plus I only figured this out last week! (┬┬﹏┬┬)

I second that. The BOSS Substitution decipherer helped tons when Cryptii.com’s was too complex.

I would third that and point out that the official BOSS substitution tool has the added advantage that you are allowed, and even encouraged, to use it in the rules, whereas you are not allowed to use tools from other sites like Cryptii.com!
